New Cookie Blog

Check out my new blog...

www.cookiesbyheidi.blogspot.com

I decided to start a separate blog for my cookies, that way if someone is asking about cookies I don't have to send them to my personal blog.  They can just go straight to the cookies.  Please feel free to send your friends to this new blog.  I haven't put any contact information on it yet because I haven't figured out how it's all going to work yet.  If it's someone you know and trust, please feel free to give them my phone number or e-mail address.  Remember, it's a work in progress but please check it out and let me know what you think!! : )

The Birthday Boy

It's hard to believe that Jackson is already 1!!  Time goes by so fast!!  We got to celebrate with Jackson and 100 of his closest family and friends.  That's right 100 people were invited to the party.  This boy sure has a lot of people that love him.  Josh and I have felt so blessed to get to watch him grow over the past year.  It has been neat to see how one little baby can bring so many people so much Joy.  Amy and Josh and their families have been through a lot of hard things this year and it's amazing how God has used Jackson to bring them so much Joy in the midst of trying times.  Their family has a special birthday prayer that they say at every birthday,  I had never heard anything like it.  It was very touching and even made me tear up because this little boy is just so special!!
Like most 1 year olds, Jackson was not sure about this whole cake thing, or maybe it was the huge group of people staring and him with cameras...
He figured it out!
It was such a fun party that the Birthday Boy had to take a nap before he opened his gifts.
Is he not just the cutest!?!?
We love you baby Jackson!

Emily and Allan's Wedding

Stephanie and Judd flew out for the wedding and they stayed with us for the weekend.  We had so much fun spending time with them and catching up.

Here is the beautiful bride tossing the bouquet... I love her dress!!

Just the cutest little family ever!

The wedding was catered by Doug Fore.  Stephanie, Emily and I all worked for Doug at APU.  He ran our favorite little coffee shop Corner Stone.  He was an awesome boss and it was great to see him again.  He did an amazing job, the food was delicious.  There was even an ice sculpture, it was really hot so by the time I went to take a picture it had started to melt.

Amy was a social butterfly who disappeared several times during the dancing and this was Josh standing on the stage looking ever so pitifully for her!
Josh and I got to dance with the Bride and Groom during the Money Dance.

Thriller... of course!  The DJ was really fun.  He taught us several dances and even brought hats!
It was a wonderful wedding and Emily was a beautiful bride.  She had so much fun, I don't know if I have ever seen a bride have so much fun dancing!!  I even got to wear my bridesmaids dress from Emily and Aaron's wedding, I really did get to wear it again!  Thanks Em!

The Girls Getting Ready

On the wedding day I had the pleasure of getting to spend the morning with the bride and her bridesmaids as they got ready.  I also got to do Leanna's hair which was really fun.  I must say that I was honored that she trusted me to do it.

All Ready!!!

The Rehearsal Dinner

Ok, so this Rehearsal Dinner was by far the most fun that any of us have ever been to.  Sorry to anyone has ever held a Rehearsal Dinner that I have ever been to but this one was at Dave and Busters.  For those of you who have never been to a D&B it's like a Chuck E. Cheese for adults.  The actual dinner was held on the roof which was really cool but then they gave us each a game card and everyone had a great time goofing around and letting go!
Leanna and Josh were both very excited when they won at NASCAR.  Well, what you don't see here is that after each of them won, I sat down and played against them and several others and came out of no where and beat them all.  It was awesome... no one saw it coming (not even me) I love to go for the shock factor! : )

These 4 each spun the wheel and landed on the jackpot to win 1,000 tickets.  It's pretty hard to do so we were all cracking up when people kept winning.
We had so much fun and I would recommend having a Rehearsal Dinner at Dave and Buster's any day.  It's a great place to let all of the stress go and just have some fun!

A Coffee Date with the Grils

Ok, at the request of Amy W : ) here are the pictures from our coffee date.  Even the twins came for coffee but as you can see, they weren't in the mood to get their pictures taken.

Although the girls were not in the mood to have their pictures taken, that didn't stop me from trying.
