This rose is actually called a Fireman's Rose, my Mom and Grandma each have one in memory of my Grandpa, Richard Johnson. When we were at my parent's house last weekend it was beautifully in bloom.

Heidi, thanks for posting Grandpa's roses on your blog. It made me cry! When we got home from our vacation,of course these roses were gone, but 3 more were in beautiful bloom. I brought them in the house and they smelled so good. I know Grandpa is smiling!
